Boys’ basketball: Westchester 19, Taft 18

The first quarter has been completed in the City Section Division I championship game, with Westchester holding a 19-18 lead over Taft at the Galen Center.

Michael Williams has made three three-pointers for Taft. Kareem Jamar contributed two baskets for Westchester. The guards for both schools are performing well.
