Boys’ basketball: Taft’s Taylor ready for King challenge

Taft basketball Coach Derrick Taylor will be taking his City Section runner-up team to Riverside King on Thursday night. He knows what the Toreadors will be facing.

Last season, Taft was beaten by King, 83-82, in overtime in the semifinals of the Division I Southern California Regionals. The Toreadors are in an identical position, except this time, they have to play at King.
