North Hollywood Campbell Hall has begun conducting interviews for its highly sought-after boys’ basketball position, and one coach who confirmed he has interviewed is Derrick Taylor, coach of City Section power Woodland Hills Taft.

‘You can’t help but be interested,’ Taylor said of the Vikings’ position that opened when Terry Kelly resigned to pursue other opportunities.

Taylor is one of at least 10 coaches who have interviewed, with more scheduled. A decision is not expected until next month.
