SACRAMENTO _ Outsized and playing in a road game because of hundreds of screaming Rocklin fans, Rialto Eisenhower is welcoming the challenge and has taken a 31-27 halftime lead over Rocklin in the state Division II final at Arco Arena.

What’s encouraging for the Eagles is that they are winning despite their leading scorer, Andrew Bock, having taken just two shots. His younger brother, Bryan, stepped up in the second quarter to contribute a three-pointer and a driving basket.

Thanks to hustle and toughness, Eisenhower is outrebounding Rocklin, 18-15, despite the Thunder having players who are 6-10 and 6-8.
