Boys’ basketball: Printz resigns at Golden Valley

Chris Printz, who started the Golden Valley basketball program from scratch and guided the team to the Foothill League championship this season, has resigned as coach. He will continue as athletic director.

Printz said he wanted to devote more time to his family. No replacement has been named.
