Baseball: Arleta sophomores help team go 5-0 in San Diego

Arleta from the City Section East Valley League distinguished itself in the San Diego Lions tournament, going 5-0 and beating Culver City, 11-6, to win its bracket.

Sophomore Javy Lopez went seven for 16 and struck out 12 in eight innings. Sophomore Miguel Perez had eight hits in 16 at-bats. Arleta improved to 13-6.
