Baseball: Edison stays unbeaten in the Sunset League

Huntington Beach Edison and its outstanding pitching staff continues to dominate in the Sunset League. Senior Kurt Heyer threw a three-hitter Saturday, striking out eight and walking none in the Chargers’ 6-0 victory over Anaheim Esperanza.

Edison improved to 14-2 overall and 7-0 in league. Donald Sneed hit a two-run home run for the Chargers, ranked No. 4 in the Southland by The Times.
