The freshman right-hander leads the team with 71 strikeouts. Freshman Chris Amezquita, an Anaheim Servite graduate, had two hits for the Bruins.

Freshman Trevor Bauer, a Newhall Hart graduate, is scheduled to pitch today for UCLA at 2 p.m. against Washington at Jackie Robinson Stadium.
