Girls’ basketball: Orange Lutheran coach collapses, dies

Tony Matson, the girls’ basketball coach at Orange Lutheran, collapsed and died Friday at a construction job in Corona, the Orange County Register reported. He was 44.

Matson’s teams won five league titles in 10 seasons as coach. Matson is survived by his wife, Heidi, and three daughters.
