Reseda Cleveland has been awarded the No. 1 seeding for the 18-team City Section Division I baseball playoffs. Chatsworth is No. 2, El Camino Real No. 3 and Narbonne No. 4.

Five West Valley League teams were selected.

The seedings were put together for the first time by a committee without coaches. They based their seedings on using an RPI formula, a coaches’ poll and a maxpreps.com poll. Ex-coaches and administrators made up the committee.
