Golf: City Section championships start Monday

Sophomore Robin Jang, who won the City Section invidiual golf championship last season as a freshman at Van Nuys, will be out to defend in his title Monday on the first day of a two-day competition at Griffith Park’s Wilson course. The final round is Wednesday.
Jang should face some of the same players who chased him last season, including Chris Kim of Granada Hills and Daniel Slovis of Woodland Hills El Camino Real.
El Camino Real is the favorite to win the team title, with Reseda Cleveland and Granada Hills also expected to be in contention.
