Boys’ volleyball: Loyola-Mater Dei to meet for Division I title

Los Angeles Loyola and Santa Ana Mater Dei have advanced to Saturday’s 7:30 p.m. Southern Section Division I boys’ volleyball championship match at Cypress Colege.
Loyola defeated Long Beach Wilson in a five-game semifinal on Wednesday. Mater Dei upset Mira Costa in three games in the other semifinal.
In Division II, Marmonte League powers Simi Valley Royal and Westlake Village Westlake will meet in the championship match on Saturday at Thousand Oaks.
