Girls’ basketball: Three from Mater Dei named to U16 national team

Three players from Santa Ana Mater Dei have been selected for the U16 U.S. national women’s basketball team. They are 6-foot guard Jordan Adams, 6-0 forward Kaleena Mosqueda-Lewis and 6-1 forward Alexyz Vaioletama.

The three led Mater Dei to a 32-game win streak last season. Adams is the lone freshman selected to the 12-woman team.
