Dustin Garneau, a former All-City catcher at San Pedro, has become a key contributor for Cal State Fullerton, earning MVP honors at last week’s NCAA regionals at Fullerton.

The senior also played football at San Pedro.

And speaking of the Pirates, tight end

Benny Weischedel, who caught two touchdown passes in last fall’s City final, will attend Willamette, an NCAA Division III school in Oregon.
