Boys’ basketball: Westchester outlasts Gardena Serra in 2 OTs

Westchester defeated Gardena Serra, 76-72, in double overtime Saturday night in a semifinal game of the Fairfax tournament. Jordin Mayes scored 21 points and Denzel Douglas had 16 for Westchester, which will play Long Beach Poly in Sunday’s 6 p.m. final. Keith Shamburger scored 30 points for Serra.

Poly defeated Santa Monica, 63-46, in the other semifinal, with Shelton Boykin scoring 19 points and Ryan Anderson 15.
