Baseball: Paramount, El Segundo advance in Legion playoffs

The Long Beach American Legion playoffs continued Wednesday, with Paramount and El Segundo each winning winner’s bracket games.

Paramount defeated La Mirada, 4-1, and El Segundo defeated Downey, 6-4. Paramount and El Segundo will meet today at Paramount at 7 p.m.
