Mutz family members in the San Fernando Valley are still coming to terms with the death of Michael Mutz, a former baseball player at Van Nuys Montclair Prep, Moorpark College and the Master’s College who lived in Newhall.
He was killed July 5 in a car accident in Malibu. He was 41.
Mutz was the brother of West Hills Chaminade Coach Frank Mutz. He is survived by his wife and two sons.
