La Canada St. Francis’ football team hasn’t practiced on its field since last Tuesday because of the wild fire in the area. School was canceled Monday.

The team has been practicing in the school gym and also held a practice Saturday at L.A. Valley College. Coach Jim Bonds does not know if the air quality will clear up enough for the Golden Knights to host a scheduled scrimmage against Valencia on Friday.
