Football: Crenshaw’s talent strikes early

Crenshaw’s speed and offensive talent has already shown itself in its game against Lakewood. On the opening kickoff, DeAnthony Thomas returned the ball to the Lakewood 38.

Then, on the first offensive play, Marquis Thompson threw the ball down field, and Geno Hall leaped between two Lakewood defenders, grabbed the ball and ran in for a 38-yard touchdown. It’s Crenshaw 7, Lakewood 0 after 21 seconds.
