Football: Rally powers ECR to early lead over Hart

Sophomore running back Kawan Rally took a pitch 23 yards for a score and added a 1-yard touchdown run on the next possession as visiting El Camino Real has taken a 12-0 lead over Hart with 2:48 left in the first quarter of tonight’s intersectional game at College of the Canyons.

The Conquistadors drove deep into Hart territory on the game’s opening drive but missed a field goal. Rally capped a four-play drive on El Camino Real’s next possession but the extra point was blocked. His second touchdown off left tackle came on third-and-goal from the Indians’ 1-yard line. A two-point conversion pass failed.

Hart had -13 yards in its first eight plays but the Indians are on the move and have the ball in ECR territory as the first quarter ends.
