Football: Garfield beats Birmingham again

One of the biggest surprises last season was Garfield over Birmingham, 29-28. Well, the Bulldogs did it again Friday night, getting a 27-yard field goal from Christian Hoyos with seven seconds left to defeat Birmingham, 25-24.
Garfield Coach Lorenzo Hernandez continues to build a program for the long haul. Even though Garfield lost lots of players to graduation, the Bulldogs have reached the point they are going to be solid every season.
