Football: Is there a Dorsey, Calif.?

Two of UCLA’s starters from Dorsey High, Rahim Moore and Jonathan Franklin, introduced themselves on the scoreboard TV screen at the Rose Bowl as being from Dorsey, Calif. What a great way to honor their high school.

It was a terrific weekend for City Section graduates.

Moore had three interceptions. Franklin, in his first collegiate appearance and start, rushed for 43 yards. Birmingham grad Milton Knox performed well, gaining 45 yards.

At USC, another Dorsey grad, Stafon Johnson, scored two touchdowns.
