Football: Edison’s passing game is on fire

Quarterback Matt Viles has thrown touchdown passes of 23 yards to Jeff Trojan and 93 yards to Michael Rivera to give Huntington Beach Edison a 27-17 lead over Dana Hills with 6:02 left in the third quarter.

Viles has passed for 444 yards. Trojan has caught 13 passes for 193 yards.

Dana Hills fumbled on the Edison three-yard line in the third quarter, its second lost fumble of the game.
