On fourth-and-goal from the one-yard line and after both teams had called time out trying to set up their strategies, Edison’s Wade Houston scored the touchdown, and the Chargers have pulled to within 26-21 of Mater Dei with two minutes left in the third quarter.

The Chargers have been gambling in an all-out bid to win this game.

It was the third successful fourth-down play of the game for the Chargers. Earlier on the drive, on a fourth-and-six situation from the Mater Dei 14, Michael Rivera caught an 11-yard pass reception.
