Football: Mater Dei gets TD on interception

Santa Ana Mater Dei has come up with the first big play of its game against No. 3-ranked Huntington Beach Edison.

Matthew Billeci made an interception off Edison quarterback Matt Viles and returned it 45 yards for a touchdown with 4:54 left in the first quarter. It was Viles’ first pass of the game and gave Mater Dei a 7-0 lead.
