In the wake of two hazing incidents involving football players at Granada Hills and Huntington Park, the City Section has issued a memo to coaches reminding them of their responsibilities in dealing with hazing issues.

Last August, four Granada Hills players were involved in an alleged hazing incident in the school locker room. Three have been expelled. At Huntington Park, five freshmen lost their athletic privileges for a year for punching another player.
