This matchup between Southern Section and City Section isn’t very competitive. Los Alamitos has been in control from the start and leads Narbonne at halftime, 14-0.

Narbonne’s offense has been ineffective. There’s no rhythm and no punch. Quarterback Chad Dashnaw threw five consecutive incompletions at one point, and he has been mainly throwing short passes. He was sacked for a 20-yard loss when the ball was jarred loose, and that seemed to rattle him briefly.

Meanwhile, Los Alamitos’ offensive line has done its job opening holes for Nick Richardson, who has rushed for 155 yards in 15 carries.

About the only good news for Narbonne is that the Griffins didn’t score at the end of the half after recovering a punt that went off a Narbonne defender on the 19. A 30-yard field goal was missed.
