Football: Malcolm Jones commits to UCLA

UCLA Coach Rick Neuheisel has received his first big commitment from an elite prospect from the class of 2010.

Running back-linebacker Malcolm Jonesfrom Westlake Village Oaks Christian has committed to the Bruins, Coach Bill Redell confirmed Thursday morning.

Jones picked the Bruins over Stanford. Jones has been a one-man wrecking crew for the Lions, using his overpowering running style to lead Oaks Christian to a No. 2 ranking by The Times.

His brother, Marshall, plays for USC.
