Long Beach Poly is putting up a fight. Chris Leachman scored on a one-yard run, tying up the game at 7-7 with 1:36 left in the first quarter against Lakewood.
Poly got a 14-yard pass reception from Earnest Pettway down to the one-yard line on a pass from receiver Kaelin Clay. Jesse Scroggins of Lakewood has completed one of five passes for minus-three yards.
