And if there is one that is currently haunting Mater Dei, it’s a botched snap from Jack Doll that prevented Zac Chocek from trying to convert on a 23-yard field goal before time expired. The Lancers end the first half with a 14-13 lead over the Monarchs.

On the previous drive, Orange Lutheran wide receiver Robby Cooper made a diving catch in the end zone for a 36-yard touchdown reception with 1:43 remaining. Parker Flynn’s extra point gave the Lancers a 14-13 edge.
