Eight inducted into Southern Section Hall of Fame

Eight former coaches were inducted into the CIF Southern Section Hall of Fame on Thursday.

They include Mike Bartee, who coached boys’ basketball at Riverside North; Daniel Hirsch, former cross country coach at Buena Park; Eleanor Dykstra, former girls’ basketball coach at Cerritos Valley Christian; Dwayne DeSpain, former football coach at Los Altos; John Draghi, former gymnastics coach at Baldwin Park; John Herbold, former baseball coach at Long Beach Poly and Lakewood; Jan Most, former swim coach at Mission Viejo, and Ron Palmer, former boys’ basketball coach at Long Beach Poly.
