Boys’ soccer: L.A. Salesian producing top players

Los Angeles Salesian is becoming a school that produces top boys’ soccer players. Former captain Carlos Alvarez, a freshman at Connecticut, was recently honored as a player of the week after scoring two goals and getting three assists against Harvard and Pittsburgh.

Another former Salesian standout, Bryan Alvarez, who graduated in 2006, was named CCAA player of the week for Cal State Dominguez Hills.
