Garfield closes to 7-6

Garfield and Roosevelt have each had the ball once and each has scored. Garfield pulled to within 7-6 of the Rough Riders on a two-yard touchdown run by Jonathan Lopez with 10:28 left in the second quarter.
What a drive by Garfield. The Bulldogs got the ball on their own 18 and ran off 15 plays.
Garfield consumed lots of time off the clock, relying on the running of Jonathan Lopez and the leadership of quarterback Leonardo Vaal. But a missed extra point prevented the Bulldogs from tying the game.
