Football: Hemet coach is fired

Andy Boynton, the football coach at Hemet for the last 14 years, has been fired, the Riverside Press-Enterprise reported.
Hemet was only 2-8 this season, but Boynton was a good coach who followed the rules and made sure his players got attention from college recruiters.
It’s that time of year where coaching changes have begun. There are more to come.
