Despite an interception by Matthew Billeci, Mater Dei trails Bishop Amat, 14-6, at halftime.
Billeci’s interception and 40-yard return gave the Monarchs the ball on Bishop Amat’s 35-yard line. But the drive stalled.
Victor Blackwell of Mater Dei has caught six passes for 93 yards.
