Football: Hart strikes back against Hueneme

Hart is trying to rally against Hueneme at College of the Canyons.
Running back Jake Stephens got just enough for a first down on 4th-and-1 to keep Hart’s comeback hopes alive, C.J. Reyes took a quarterback keeper 35 yards on the next play, then Reyes connected with Blake Borland for a 32-yard touchdown. Reyes hung in the pocket and threw to Kevin King in the back of the end zone for the two-point conversion to pull host Hart within 23-15 with 4:54 remaining in the fourth quarter.

Reyes has thrown three interceptions and has been sacked six times.

After scoring, Hart did not attempt an onside kick.

Hueneme has gained two first downs and has the ball at the Indians’ 40-yard line with under three minutes left.
