Football: Hart’s first drive stalls just outside red zone

Hart picked up four first downs on the opening drive of its Northern Division first-round game against Hueneme, but the drive stalled at the Vikings’ 22-yard line after D.J. Hairston dropped a fourth-down pass from C.J. Reyes at the 7-yard line that would’ve given the Indians a first-and-goal.

Hueneme gained one two first downs before punting on its first possession. Hart went three-and-out on its second series. Reyes completed his first four throws but has since thrown seven straight incompletions.

The Vikings will start their second drive at Hart’s 48-yard line with 4:13 left in the first quarter.
