Football: Late TD gives Hueneme 9-7 halftime lead

Hueneme drove for a touchdown in the final minute and leads host Hart, 9-7, at halftime of a Northern Division first-round playoff game at College of the Canyons.
After Hueneme defensive back Allan Ewald intercepted a tipped ball over the middle and returned it to the Vikings’ 41-yard line. Hueneme drove to the Hart 26 and quarterback Jonathan Barnfather lofted a high pass to the end zone that was caught by Patrick Moeslein for a touchdown with 27 seconds left in the half.

Osvaldo Valladolid’s extra-point kick was wide. Hart moved into Hueneme territory on its last possession but quarterback CJ Reyes was pressured and fumbled near midfield as the clock ran out.
