Mission Viejo freshman Eric Harris missed on a 34-yard field-goal attempt as time in the second quarter expired, making the score 6-6 at halftime of the Pac-5 semifinal game with Servite.

Servite sophomore linebacker Butch Pauu picked up a 15-yard penalty with four seconds left for taunting Mission Viejo quarterback Dallin McEwen that moved the ball to the Servite 17.

Both teams have had their chances to score, but Mission Viejo heads to the locker room a little more frustrated, considering a dropped pass could have resulted in a touchdown and two missed kicks cost the Diablos points.
