Boys’ basketball: LB Poly routs Fairfax

Long Beach Poly advanced to the championship game of the Redondo tournament with an 81-45 victory over Los Angeles Fairfax. Shelton Boykin scored 19 points for Poly (3-0), which will play in Saturday’s final against Gardena Serra, which edged Compton, 66-64.
Donte McFrazier scored 15 points for Fairfax (2-1).
Serra (3-0) gave Coach Dwan Hurt his 400th career victory and received 24 points from Keith Shamburger.
