Top-seeded Edison is starting to pull away from Lakewood in the third quarter. The Chargers added a 20-yard field goal by Markus Trujillo with 2:56 left in the quarter to open a 23-7 lead.
Lakewood’s offense isn’t doing much. The Lancers keep dropping passes, making quarterback Jesse Scroggins largely ineffective.
