Two interceptions to start half and Serra leads

The third quarter started with a bang. Max Napolitano intercepted Serra quarterback Conner Preston on the Oaks Christian 42. On the next play, Oaks Christian quarterback Nick Montana was intercepted for the third time, with Devin Spann returning the ball 68 yards for a touchdown, and Serra leads, 28-21.

Why is Oaks Christian passing the ball?
