Football: Servite is Pac-5 champion

In his fifth season as coach, Troy Thomas has guided Anaheim Servite to the Pac-5 Division championship after a 16-6 victory over unbeaten Huntington Beach Edison Saturday night at Angel Stadium.
It took stellar defense and strong play from quarterback Cody Fajardo to deliver victory for the Friars (13-1), who will now wait to see whether they get to go to the Open Division or Division II for the CIF state bowl championships.
