Football: Servite leading 10-0 in third quarter

Servite got its first touchdown of the game after senior quarterback Cody Fajardo connected with sophomore tight end Ainslie Johnson for an 11-yard touchdown. The extra point gave the Friars a 10-0 lead with 6:27 remaining in the third quarter. The score capped off a 10-play, 72-yard scoring drive through 3:45 of game time.

Two plays before the touchdown, Fajardo threw a 37-yard pass to senior wide receiver Rudy Guererro at the Chargers’ 12-yard line.
