When it comes to the impact transfer of the year, it has to be Conner Preston, who went from Palisades to Gardena Serra and now finds himself starting in the CIF state championship Division III bowl game Saturday at noon against Marin Catholic at the Home Depot Center.

Preston, a junior, has passed for 3,187 yards and 41 touchdowns for the 14-0 Cavaliers. He has been aided by the best collection of receivers in Southern California.
