UCLA Coach Ben Howland is continuing his pursuit for a point guard, as evidenced by attending today’s Sacramento-Pasadena game at the Oaks Christian tournament.

He was watching junior guard Josiah Turner of Sacramento. Turner had 20 points in the first half when Sacramento took a 30-22 lead. He finished with 48 points, including the game-winning three-point shot from the top of the key as the buzzer sounded in a 71-70 victory.

Turner is averaging 28 points a game. Kansas is also heavily recruiting Turner, who attended UCLA’s game on Sunday at Pauley Pavilion.
