There’s no lacking of potential challengers to Westlake Village Westlake for 2010. The Warriors have an opening for zero week, and lots of coaches want to play.

Anaheim Servite Coach Troy Thomas, who just guided his squad to a Pac-5 Division title, said he wants Coach Jim Benkert to give him a call.

‘We want to play week zero,’ Thomas said. ‘We’re ready to rock.’

Of course, Thomas will have to get into line. Woodland Hills Taft and Chaparral have also inquired about playing the Warriors, who went 14-0 this past season and return lots of top players.
