There will be no return to Encino Crespi for Troy Thomas, who said Sunday he has reached a verbal agreement to remain as coach at Anaheim Servite. Thomas said he is not a candidate for the vacant coaching position at his alma mater.

Thomas guided the Friars to the Pac-5 championship this past season, his fifth at Servite. He previously coached at Crespi.

Thomas said Servite is in the process of finalizing its schedule for 2010 and will include a season-opening game against Oceanside, a possible trip to Louisiana and games against La Habra, Huntington Beach Edison and Temecula Chaparral.
