Football: Crespi has selected its new coach

Encino Crespi sent out a news release this afternoon saying it had selected a new football coach and will make the announcement Saturday at 2 p.m. during a team meeting for football players.

The release states: ‘According to Athletic Director Matt Luderer, the new coach has a proven record of winning, but it was his intangibles that closed the deal. Our new coach has developed great player leadership and character development programs. He also successfully implemented a relationship building program with the fans that fostered a great sense of community with the students and our community. These are many of the ideals Crespi stands for and hopes to promote to each student and our community.’
