Football: Seven locals make Parade All-America team

Seven high school players from Southern California have been selected to the Parade magazine All-America football team.

They include running back Malcolm Jones from Westlake Village Oaks Christian, receiver Robert Woods from Gardena Serra, defensive lineman Ronald Powell from Moreno Valley Rancho Verde, offensive tackle Chris Ward from Santa Ana Mater Dei, defensive lineman George Uko from Chino Don Lugo, linebacker Hayes Pullard from Los Angeles Crenshaw and defensive back Josh Shaw from Palmdale.
